CFR 1907 Cluj - Poli. Iaşi 1 - 1 (1 - 0)

Returning from the duel in Eindhoven, the railroaders were held back at home by Poli. Iaşi, 1 - 1 the final score, in the 9th stage of Liga I, and missed a huge chance to secure first place in the standings! The beginning of the match was perfect for CFR 1907 Cluj and Cadu blasted a penalty shot into the net for 1 - 0 in the 7th minute, giving the audience on "Dr. Constantin Rădulescu" the first sign that nothing could stand between their favourite team and a win on Sunday night. Still, dispite big chances for the home team, the visitors took advantage of a glitch in the opposing defence and evened the score from the penalty spot in the second half. The unexepected happened and 1 - 1 was the final score for this encounter, although Nei and Didi missed two immense chances in the last minutes.
