Emmanuel Kone: "I"m on the right track!"

cfr1907.ro: What do you think about the match in Bordeaux?
E. Kone: “This was my first time in the Champions League and I think it was all right. I’m on the right track. I’m glad that Mr. Trombetta trusted me and this motivates me to work harder, to fight for a place in the squad. I won’t disappoint!”

cfr1907.ro: How was your debut in the Champions League like?
E. Kone: “I was very happy because I was on the pitch. I didn’t feel pressure but wanted to show that I can play in the Champions League and for a place in the squad. Anyway, I am used to international matches from my country’s national team, but, of course, Champions League is something different from the other competitions.”

cfr1907.ro: What do you think of the stadium, the fans?
E. Kone: “Everything here is very nice. The fans influence the players in a good way, especially in the difficult moments. They are always with us and they trust us. I would like to thank and congratulate them for everything they do.”

cfr1907.ro: What do you do in your spare time? Do you like Cluj? Did you have any problems adapting to Romania?
E. Kone: “I like spending my free time with my family and wife. We go for walks and shopping. I had some problems adapting when I got here because I had to get to terms with the cold and snow. It was pretty hard, physically speaking, but now everything is all right.”
