Cherry-coloured Bordeaux!

These days, Bordeaux is dressed in cherry-coloured clothes in order to accommodate its guests from Ardeal. One of the city symbols, “The Fountain of the Three Graces”, situated in the Stock Exchange Square, is decorated in our Club’s colour, and the water that is animating it is the same colour. Close to the fountain that has overnight become the symbol of CFR 1907 Cluj in the French town, is the Romanian delegation’s hotel. Yesterday, the 22nd of October 2008, fan club members went to a pub a small distance away from our team’s headquarters, in order to be closer to their favourites. In just a few minutes, the area in the center of Bordeaux, was animated by the songs and cheers of the enthusiastic Gruia fans, accompanied by a Bulgarian street performer’s accordion. The city central part quickly came to life, the music and dancing reaching their peak once Peralta, Prette, Pereira, Dubarbier and Culio appeared in the area. They were greeted in the well-known manner, with cheers and applause. Even the passers-by stopped and applauded the spontaneous eruption of enthusiasm and colour. In the meantime, at the hotel, president Iuliu Mureşan heard the songs and went down into the street to see something he never believed possible: a cherry coloured Bordeaux! Glasses of wine were toasted, songs were sung together and best wishes flew all around. O rehearsal for tonight, we hope!
