The game got off to a decent start, each team trying to speculate the opponents' mistakes. Cluj showed great bravery and the players seemed conscious of their own value putting a lot of pressure on Chelsea.

Minute 3 brought Dubarbier close to Cech's goal and the reply from Chelsea was a kick from Kalou straigtht in Stancioiu's arms. The public encouraged Cluj all along the match despite long minutes of switching balls at the midfiled.  In the 28th minute, our team moved superbly with Trica that volleyed the ball too much to the left. In the 35th minute, Pereira, got even closer to Cech's goal without scoring, though.

During the break, teams reaorganized fast and the second half showed the public a more determined Chelsea that swiftly moved towards Stancioiu's goal. Drogba was injured and left the field forcing Scolari to yet another change. The 80th minute left audience breathless with Trica sending a ball that clipped the edge of a post. Pereira continued his stunning performance and sent another shot towards the goal. Anelka, replacing a less efficient Salomon Kalou, failed to score from only 2 meters away from the goal and Lampard gave the audience great emotions in minute 90 with a shot that passed the goal.

A great result 0-0 draw against the Blues and a great audience encouring the team all along the game.
