CFR 1907 Cluj officials in Bordeaux

Club president Iuliu Mureşan and foreign affairs director Antoniou Antonis are in Bordeaux, between September 23rd-25th 2008, on behalf of CFR 1907 Cluj, for a series of meetings with French officials, aimed at settling the details of the match between the two teams, in the Champions League group stage. Thus, the players and the staff will be in Bordeaux between October 21st-23rd 2008, already having reservations at a hotel in the city, coach Maurizio Trombetta's press conference and official training session will take place on October 21st 2008, at 19:30, 20:00 respectively. Romanian citizens in Bordeaux, who want to come to the match, can purchase tickets on matchday, in the cherry-coloured fans' sector.

President Iuliu Mureşan had a surprise waiting for him while visiting the official Girondins de Bordeaux shop. The official from Gruia was recognised by the shop manager, who congratulated him for CFR 1907's result in Rome and recalled the days when he played with Tony Da Silva for Paris Saint-Germain. On this ocasion, the two former colleagues managed to exchange a few words over the phone, courtesy of president Iuliu Mureşan. At the end of the visit, the shop manager had a gift for the railoroaders' defender, that he entrusted to the two CFR 1907 Cluj officials.
