Ronny: ”This year we will fight for the title!”

www.cfr1907.ro talked with the Brazilian player Ronny da Silva about his career, playing style and his spare time hobbies.

How did you start your football career?

My first professional contract was with Sertaozinho at the age of 18. After that I have played for teams like Juventus Sao Paolo, America de Natal, Pacos de Ferreira and Beira Mar.

Did someone influence you to start playing football?

My father and grandfather are the persons who have guided me towards football, they are big football-enthusiasts. The first gift I have received from them was a football.

Did you always play as a striker?

From the time I was a junior player and until now, I only played as a striker.

Marco Van Basten, Romario, Ronaldo, Maradona or Pele?

Maradona, I watched a lot of videos with him on youtube, he was a very smart and fast player.

What did you know about our team before you came here?

I knew that CFR played in the Champions League competition and that players like Didi and Dani have played for this team. Before my arrival, I spoke with Didi and I still talk with him on the internet.

27-is your playing number, what does it represent?

My former coach from the Chinese team i played for, told me that I must wear this number because it brings good luck.

Do you have any pre-match superstitions?

No I don't have any superstitions

How would you describe you playing style?

I always play for the group, when we win, the victory belongs to all of us, the same thing works in case of a defeat.
