Lacina Traore-”My gesture was an impulsive one”

“I would like to apologize for my gesture from the match with AS Roma, which was not addressed to the supporters and those present at the stadium yesterday evening. Throughout the game a frustration has build up from my desire to give the CFR supporters a reason to celebrate for, and because my numerous occasions to score have failed, the tension increased with each attempt. The goal from the 89th minute was for me, an unchaining from the accumulated stress, and the gesture that I made was not directed to anyone, attending our game with Rome. My gesture was an impulsive one, I respect and love both the supporters and the club, whom I would like to thank, for giving me the chance to play in the Champions League. I wish everyone, happy holidays, good health, and for the new year, I promise to score many goals, and bring happiness in the hearts of the fans”.
