Happy birthday, Andres!

cfr1907.ro: Happy birthday! How are you feeling here in Romania after so much time?
Andres: I feel much better now, after a year and 8 months, I know the city well. I know where to go out at a restaurant or any other place to spend my spare time. I like the people a lot and the football is going well, and that is the most important thing for me.

cfr1907.ro: What plans do you have for your birthday? What are you going to do?
Andres: I will celebrate traditionally. My family is coming over, we eat together and we sing. Romanian and Brazilian customs are very much alike.

cfr1907.ro: You scored the only goal against Craiova. Last year there were 14 matches without defeat, this year, so far, things were not so good. How do you see the return to last year’s performance?
Andres: We had things going for us pretty well in training but our game play didn’t quite unfold as we expected in the first four matches. It’s hard to keep up the pace, you have to work. The fixture against Vaslui is a very important one and if we win, all is forgotten.

cfr1907.ro: Are you nervous for Champions League? What team would you like CFR 1907 Cluj to play against in the group stage?
Andres: I am very nervous but anyone is like that when they are playing against the top teams in Europe. I would like Barcelona or Real Madrid, or even AC Milan of they qualify.

cfr1907.ro: A more personal question for you: What are you going to do after you retire?
Andres: I haven’t thought about it. I only know that I want to stick around football but I have no idea what I am going to do.
