Andone: "We have to win against Vaslui!"

“We didn’t have a bad game against Universitatea Craiova and I could even say that the first half was good. Sadly, problems appeared in the second half: we didn’t have enough pressure on the man with the ball and we retreated into our half. These tactical mistakes cost us the game. If we could have maintained the level of play in the second half, the final score would have been different. I regret not being able to score more, but I am trying to fix the problem as fast as possible. We had chances to score, but no goals. We need to pay attention from now on; Champions League games are hard, and if you don’t perform well in the second half you can’t win. A hard week awaits us, we must win at Vaslui!”

Questioned about his relationship with management, Andone dismissed the rumors appeared recently in the media: “Everything is alright, we are going trough a bad period and the management understands this. I have total freedom and no pressure. We are all united and that is essential for performance.” Also, our coach confirmed that he will made some changes in the squad, and he is searching for alternatives as the offence is not glowing. “This is our problem and we are trying to fix it. I can’t say I regret letting Fabbiani go, we have other alternatives for his post, Didi, Semedo, Dubarbier.”

In closing, Andone responded to rumors about him moving to Romania’s national team:”At the moment I`m not interested in the national team. It is every coach’s dream to train a national team but I have a project going on here in Cluj and I plan to finish it”
