Ioan Andone: "Lots of goals for our fans"

Our manager is confident that his players will perform better than they did in Giuleşti and the number of goals scored against the opponents will please the fans: “The boys are ready and they know that they must play even better than they did in Giuleşti. We have a lot of players on our team and this fixture will give some of them who played less so far this season the chance to show what they’re made of.” For Sunday, Ioan Andone will not be able to count on Dani and Dubarbier, suspended, and Didi, who trained separately because of some knee pains. Concerning the tactics against the main danger for the railroaders’ goal, Florin Costea, our coach declared that the defenders will hold their area carefully because, in his opinion, Craiova’s star player is the best Romanian player in the championship.

Fans favorite, Antonio Semedo, also anticipates the difficult clash against Universitatea but is convinced that the 3 points at stake will stay in Cluj: “Craiova also has 6 points, just like us, and the fact that they’re playing against the champions will motivate them even more. It will be a hard match with each team trying to secure the win. Only the 3 points matter. If I am on the pitch, I hope I will please the fans and score at least a goal. I am grateful for their affection in these 2 years since I have been playing for CFR and I promise I will not disappoint them.
