The last match of the year for CFR 1907 Cluj brought a big name to the "Dr. Constantin Rădulescu" stadium, PSV Eindhoven, which the Dutch lived up to and won, 0-2, against the railroaders, who, most probably, lacked the necessary motivation to manage a good result in the last stage of the UEFA Europa League. High marks for the fans and the football displayed but 2009 ended with a defeat for Mandorlini's team. Still, hopes and expectations are high for 2010, when two more trophies are expected in Gruia: the Romanian Championship title and the Romanian Cup!
