CFR 1907 Cluj lost the pole-position in Liga I after a 2 - 0 defeat away in Vaslui, with Temwanjera and Wesley giving Peskovic no chance to keep his team in the match. Although the railroaders' hopes were high, they failed to convert them to reality and were defeated by a much more ambitious team, who stopped at nothing to take the three points and the lead in Liga I. Universitatea Craiova is next on „Dr. Constantin Rădulescu" and would like another crack at the railroaders after the defeat in the Romanian Cup.
